The annual local Chicago Black Restaurant Week — a separate campaign from the summer edition — aims to get customers better-acquainted with new restaurants in different parts of the city. Restaurants often offer a specially-priced item or items to commemorate the campaign. For this year’s CBRW, the event has partnered with third-party delivery service UberEats to help distribute food from these restaurants as the pandemic continues to shift food service. This year’s list of participants stretches to include 81 restaurants, including favorites like Dock’s Chicago (both locations), Iyanze Bar & Cafe, Luella’s Southern Kitchen, Two Fish Crab and more.
