Big White gets accolades

Big White was ranked among the top resorts in the world.
Big White was ranked among the top ski resorts in Canada, according to the Condé Nast Traveller UK Readers’ Choice Awards.
More than 125,000 Condé Nast Traveller readers in the UK shared their travel experiences and insights to highlight the best global destinations, landing the local ski hill 15th in North America, and fourth among the Canadian resorts ranked. Using feedback from readers, Big White scored 83.33 out of a possible 100.
First place went to Whistler Blackcomb, which scored 94; Aspen Mountain, Colorado, ranked second with a score of 93.89, Banff Sunshine, Alberta, Canada. Score 93.70 for third place, Sun Valley, Vail, Colorado, scored 93.56 and ranked fourth and Sun Valley, Idaho, scored 93.33 for fifth.
“We are extremely proud to be recognized among the top 15 ski resorts in North America and ranked as the fourth best in Canada,” Michael J. Ballingall, senior vice president of Big White Ski Resort said in a press release.
“As a family-owned and operated resort, this recognition is a testament to the dedication of our team and the unforgettable experiences we strive to create. We’re especially grateful to our guests, whose passion for exploring our world-renowned Okanagan Champagne Powder helped make this possible.”
